The Club has returned triumphant from the Victorian Country Club Championships held in October 2008 in Bendigo. The Tigers came from the tournament overall winners for the ninth consecutive time in winning the Max Bowman Shield. The shield is awarded to the club which collects the most points by winning its round robbin games. About 70 players were sent to the tournament from the Tigers, with the under-14 girls, under-18 girls and under-16 boys sides winning titles. Kym Cassells clocks 1000 Senior Games
